Nice neighbors for her parents
Our journey with Loulou began with the sad news of her neighbor’s passing. Alongside her sister, she found herself in a unique situation where her neighbor’s house needed to be sold. Through the notary, she got in touch with Jochum and Suzanne at our office.
Loulou had a specific wish for the new owners of her neighbor’s house: nice neighbors for her parents. She ultimately chose Leef Makelaars because of our compassionate approach and understanding of her personal needs. Loulou said, “Leef Makelaars wasn’t just focused on selling a house but also actively listened to the specific needs, taking the wish for good neighbors for my parents seriously.”
Strong media strategies
“Leef Makelaars presented a strong and well-thought-out plan of action, including effective media strategies. Within an impressive period of 2/3 weeks, the house was successfully sold.” Loulou even received a nice letter from the new buyers, making the whole process even more special.
The team proposed a good asking price, and Loulou truly felt seen and heard in this emotional process.
Searching for a new home
With the selling adventure behind her, Loulou embarked on her search for her own place. But where? Amsterdam was the initial choice, but after discussions with friends, the idea shifted to Haarlem. Luckily, she chose Jeroen and Suzanne from Leef Makelaars, who not only provided good advice but also clearly indicated when a property wasn’t the right choice. Loulou appreciates the thorough research and honesty of the team.
“If you guys think it’s right, then I’m all in,” she says.
Dream home found
On the same day, Loulou visited two homes and immediately knew she had found her dream home. The next dilemma: how do we approach this? Together with Willemijn, she proposed an offer with a time limit, which was promptly accepted.
A smooth process
The whole process went smoothly, Loulou testifies. “Leef feels incredibly personal, but at the same time, I find them incredibly strong in their skills, you were well-prepared, and I was in good hands.”
