Ground floor
The house was designed in 1922 by Andries de Maaker, the architect also known for Huis Leyduin in Vogelenzang and the Eerste Christelijk Lyceum in Haarlem. The layout of the living space on the ground floor is original, with the living and dining room next to each other, creating a beautiful spatial effect and plenty of natural light throughout the day.

The atmospheric dining room is spacious and has a bay window and a decorative fireplace with tiles in the style of William Morris. Through double glass doors you walk into the sitting room. From both rooms there is a beautiful view of the surrounding garden where you can enjoy all seasons throughout the year. The beautiful oak bespoke kitchen from 2022 is the perfect place to prepare a delicious dinner. The layout is ideal, with the sink and worktop on one side and the induction hob on the other. The well-organised wall of cabinets contains two fridge/freezer combinations and two ovens, with plenty of storage space.

Garden lovers can fully enjoy the beautifully landscaped garden that surrounds the house. It offers plenty of privacy and space to enjoy sun or shade at any time of day, or for children to play. The driveway at the front provides space to park 2 cars on private property. The charming detached garden house with loft offers plenty of practical storage and hobby space.

Via the bright hall with staircase, wooden balustrade and beautiful stained glass windows, you reach the first floor landing. Second floor
A fixed staircase leads to the second floor. Here there are another 2 spacious bedrooms and a second bathroom with washbasin unit, shower and third toilet. Finally, the floored loft provides ample storage space.
